3M’s Cultivando Talentos

Cultivando Talentos is a program from 3M Brazil to support scientific studies, focused on students regularly associated to technical, undergraduate and graduate courses recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education.

Milimani Andretta, from InsPOA team, was the winner from the 2019 edition of 3M’s Cultivando Talentos, with the scientific project “Artisanal cheese microbiota interferes on the selectivity of culture media used for lactic acid bacteria and staphylococci enumeration”. This project is part of a major scientific project in development by the InsPOA and INOVALEITE teams, related to the characterization of the microbiota from the artisanal cheeses produced in the Serro region, Minas Gerais, Brazil, and supported by FAPEMIG. The team is composed by Milimani Andretta, Thaiza Teixeira de Almeida and Letícia Rocha Ferreira, and coordinated by profs. Luís Augusto Nero (InsPOA) and Antonio Fernandes de Carvalho (INOVALEITE).
